The Purvis': February 2010

Definitely had a busy, but fun, first Valentine's Day with Aubry! We were in Austin for the weekend because I was running in the Austin Half Marathon Sunday morning. So I got up, ran my 13.1 miles in the cold while Derek and Aubs got to sleep in, relax, have some coffee, eat breakfast...just kidding...anyhow, after the run we packed up and headed towards Katy.

We stopped in Bastrop to eat some lunch at Chicken Express and ended up with a stripped down naked baby in the car, baby-wipe wipe down, change of clothes, loaded up and continued on our way. Can you say blow-out?

We stopped in Katy on the way home to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday with family. 60th! You'd never know it - I hope I'm in that good of shape when I'm that young. :) We had a blast with family, great food, great cake, great times. Thank goodness I was off on Monday for President's Day - I definitely needed another day before going back to work to get caught up. Poor Derek had to fly off to sunny California early Monday morning, I almost feel bad for him. almost. Where's my 70º weather?
