Our House

We are in the process of building our new house in Edmond, OK - well actually the process of actually building the house hasn't really started yet, just finished the design phase. But we are really hoping to be in by Christmas. We are living in a rental home right now with pretty much only a bed, and a couple of TVs of course - it's taking a little getting used to, but it'll all be worth it in the end (I Hope)!!


Here is our little corner of Oklahoma - 1 acre in a small neighborhood north of town. Our backyard neighbors are horses which Aubry will love!  :)

The neighborhood used to be someone's ranch which is why we have a large red barn on our lot at the moment - unfortunately it'll have to be torn down to make room for our house. Wish we could just push it to the back of the lot!

Our friends Zack and Kim, who Derek went to school with at OSU, are actually building on the lot next door which will be tons of fun!

they've finally gotten around to clearing off our lot - there's no house (or barn), but hey, we've already got a toilet! :)
