Ok so I realize I'm a horrible blogger. Between work, school and working out I just don't have (make) time to get on here! But I have a few weeks until the summer session starts so I figured I'd update as much as I can...
A couple weeks back I had another ultrasound @ 23 weeks 4 days. Everything looked good. Still a girl :) My fundal height measured 22 cm, about 1.5 weeks behind, but the baby is measuring right on schedule, and I feel like I've ballooned in the past few weeks so I'm sure I'll catch up!
This past week @ 25 weeks 4 days I went in for the dreaded glucose test. Measured 25 cm - told you I would catch up! The drink was not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Got the results back - and I passed! woohoo, no GD diet for me :)
Don't have another appointment until mid June...seems so far away!

Yeah for Baby Furniture!
So I just couldn't wait any more! I was just waiting to find out for sure if we're having a girl or not before I started shopping, and well that came last week so this weekend we went to Babies R Us and bought the crib & the changing table! I had a set picked out that I really liked, but apparently they don't sell it anymore so we went with option #2 - matching Jenny Lind crib & changing table in Cherry. Same brand of crib I had, crazy huh! Unfortunately the set doesn't come with a matching dresser or bookcase or anything so I'll have to buy something eventually, once I figure out what I need.
So I spent this weekend finishing clearing out the room and trying to decide where the furniture should go. I think I switched between two different layouts five or six times before deciding which one I like best, for now anyhow. :) We do have a dresser in the room that doesn't really fit anywhere (the room has a weird layout), so I wrestled with it for a while (it's really heavy - marble top, and old & creaky) and finally got it in the closet! Then I realized that I never put the top drawer back in and well now I can't, unless I pull the dresser back out of the closet. I think I'll let Derek do that. :) I guess I should also mention that my entire set of at least 100 shot glasses are balancing on top of this dresser while I'm moving it around the room & into the closet. Would have taken too much time to move them! That's another thing I have to figure out - where all the shot glasses are now going to go.....
